Buses, taxis, and hydrofoils are available from Trapani. One of the van shuttles we have previously used is SicilTransfert.
For local (city) buses, you'll have to purchase a fare ticket which must be stamped in a machine when you board. News stands sell the tickets for about $1.00 and generally last for 1 – 1 ½ hours. Boarding a local bus without a ticket could earn you an immediate $30.00 fine, but if you talk to previous attendees, boarding a bus without validating the ticket could cost up to $50-100 fine.
